Santa Cruz Guitar Company 50th Anniversary Concert
Santa Cruz Guitar Company is turning 50, and we’re celebrating with a special night of live music at the historic Rio Theatre on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Join us for the Santa Cruz Guitar Company 50th Anniversary Concert, featuring The Brothers Comatose, James Nash, Hustle Souls, Ron Artis II, and Catfish Keith, with Nick Forster serving as MC.
For five decades, Santa Cruz Guitar Company has been hand-building world-renowned acoustic guitars right here in Santa Cruz. This one-night celebration brings together an incredible lineup of artists, friends, and members of the music community to celebrate 50 years of craftsmanship, creativity, and music.
Doors open at 5:00 PM, with the show beginning at 5:30 PM. The evening will feature performances throughout the night and conclude with a special all-star finale.
The celebration begins earlier that day with a FREE community Block Party from 12:00–4:30 PM at Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos, featuring live music, food, local vendors, and more. Come spend the afternoon celebrating with the community, then head to the Rio Theatre for the main event.
Whether you’ve followed Santa Cruz Guitar Company for decades, love live music, play guitar, or simply want to celebrate a true Santa Cruz institution, we’d love to have you there.
Come celebrate 50 years of Santa Cruz Guitar Company with us at the Rio Theatre.
