‘Shuffle’ Premiere Film Screening

I am the Executive Director of Project Daraja, a non-profit supporting bridges towards wellness, in Santa Cruz. Project Daraja is hosting a private screening of SHUFFLE, an award-winning documentary that the New York Times called “hopeful and heartbreaking” and named a Critics’ Pick is coming to the Del Mar in Santa Cruz on March 18th.
The film exposes the insurance-fueled cycle of addiction treatment fraud spreading across the country, a powerful, eye-opening film shot over three years following three individuals whose lives depend not on entering treatment, but on getting out alive.
Given the importance of this issue in both Santa Cruz, and across the country, I was curious if it would be an event you’re willing to spread the word about?
All ticket proceeds, minus the rental of the Del Mar theater, go to Project Daraja as well as SHUFFLE’s impact campaign. There will also be a Q & A after with the film’s director and producer.
