7th Annual Capitola Beach Festival takes place Sept 27-28 with several family friendly beach, creek and wharf activities. Most events are free.
Saturday: Kicks off with the Lil Wharf 3 mile fun run (fee). Sand Sculpture Contest (free) Children’s Art (free), corn hole (free), concert (free), and the Lighted Nautical Parade on Soquel Creek.
Sunday: Fishing Derby on the Wharf (free), Paddle Board Races (fee), Horseshoes in the Sand (free), Chalk Art on the Seawall (free), and Rowboat Races (free)
