Celebrating 5 Years: Ethos is marking a Milestone in Low-Waste Living
This month, Ethos, a true pioneer in the low-waste and refillery movement, is thrilled to celebrate its 5 year anniversary of opening its Capitola location and 1 year anniversary of opening in neighboring Los Gatos. Since opening its doors in 2019, Ethos has been dedicated to providing the community with alternatives to disposable plastics, offering environmentally-friendly choices and a comprehensive, ever-expanding refillery for household and personal care items.
Over the past 5 years, Ethos has not only succeeded in diverting tons of plastic and waste from landfills, but it has also fostered a vibrant community of environmentally conscious consumers. A 1% for the Planet member and Certified B Corporation, Ethos has worked tirelessly to make an impact. “Our mission has always been to meet the needs of our community in a non-judgemental way that allows all of us to learn and grow together. This past year, being able to expand our mission into a new community has been incredible,” says Meredith Keet, Ethos founder. “We could not be more proud to see how far we’ve come. We love and appreciate our communities so much! Thank you!”
To celebrate these significant milestones, Ethos is hosting a series of promotions and events. Throughout the weekend of March 23rd and 24th, each location will be hosting local small businesses and makers for pop-ups. They’ll also have a special deal on all refillery goods: 10% off bulk refills, plus an additional 10% off if you bring your own container.
