The Santa Cruz Warriors will host Black Heritage Night against the Iowa Wolves on Friday, January 30, at 7 p.m. PT at Kaiser Permanente Arena. The evening begins with an exclusive Black Heritage Pregame Happy Hour at Oswald’s, followed by a community showcase featuring local Black nonprofits and organizations tabling outside the arena. Throughout the game, the Warriors will celebrate Black excellence by honoring local community leaders and groups, with DJ Monk Earl of Afrobeats Nite Santa Cruz providing live music. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Black Heritage Night tote bag.
