  1. What happened to the stay at home order? Our hospitals are running at low capacity. I can only imagine if a couple of these kids had to be taken to the emergency room. It show lack of responsibility by the school and parents. Respect our medical personnel and stay home to reduce the chance of issues.

      1. I understand Bob’s comment, but then it’s hard to understand anything today. I took another drive along the coast, from the lighthouse to natural bridges (not so many bridges today of course!)… and there were many people together, without masks. Granted they are along the sea, and with some air flow – but nobody has stated this is ‘safe’. This has been going on now for a long time, and I’m not sure of anybody’s comments to be honest. I don’t think that ‘mixing together’ is safe, but it’s hard to know what to think. If you want to isolate, then don’t move. If you do, then take your chances. Don’t go out Bob. Head to the boardwalk Rick. I’ll be somewhere in between.

        1. Our community’s Public Health Department’s utter lack of strong messaging regarding the pandemic is ludicrous. And as a consequence we have the second WORST level of positivity vis a vis testing. Go up to San Francisco and look at the people on the coast. Masked and serious.

  2. Hello All,
Nice photography, Connor! Well done and captured!
A correction for Event Santa Cruz: There were six youth involved with a coach in this incident. A shocking event just the same. Grateful for the response of the surfers who helped out and brought the youth to the beach.
