Tour Runs March 12 Through May in Support of Text Me If You Can
Santa Cruz–born hip-hop artist Alwa Gordon and rising rapper Afterthought have announced the Catch Me If You Can Tour, a co-headlining, multi-city run launching March 12 and continuing through May. The tour supports Gordon’s recently released album Text Me If You Can and will hit stages in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Nevada City, and Portland, with additional dates expected in Sacramento, Seattle, and San Jose.
Joining the tour are Silvandgold, Hamza, and special guests, rounding out a curated lineup of emerging West Coast hip-hop talent.
A creative force since his teenage years, Alwa Gordon has built a reputation across the Bay Area and beyond for dynamic live performances and a sound rooted in introspection and movement. Drawing inspiration from Tupac’s lyricism and Mac Dre’s hyphy-era energy, Gordon blends melodic rap flows with sharp hip-hop songwriting and self-produced records.
Text Me If You Can represents his most refined work to date, expanding on a style that resonates with fans of Drake and J. Cole while remaining grounded in West Coast influence.
“I think my music is about sharing real thoughts in a way people can move to,” Gordon explains.
That balance carries into the Catch Me If You Can Tour, where Gordon and Afterthought bring complementary yet distinct approaches to the stage, delivering high-energy sets that connect with both intimate rooms and larger crowds.
With deep roots in Santa Cruz’s countercultural music scene and a growing regional presence, Alwa Gordon continues to carve out a lane that feels both personal and accessible. The Catch Me If You Can Tour marks a new chapter—bringing new music, new collaborators, and a sharpened live show to audiences across the West Coast this spring.
