Music by local favorite Coffee Zombie Collective, a benefit for Housing Matters

SANTA CRUZ, CA (May 17, 2022) — Housing Matters today announced the food vendor line-up for its first-ever Good Neighbor Social, a block party-style event with live music and food trucks at Harvey West Clubhouse this Friday, May 20. The event is a benefit to support Housing Matters to partner with individuals and families to create pathways out of homelessness and into permanent housing.

Areperia 831, Mattia Pizza Truck and Epoch Eats (formerly the Union Foodie Truck) will serve food at the Good Neighbor Social. The event also will feature beer from Discretion Brewery, wine by Silver Mountain Winery and Aptos Vineyards, and dessert by The Penny Ice Creamery.

Areperia 831 is a small, women-run food popup that serves Venezuelan barbeque, including vegan and gluten-free options. Mattia Pizza Truck highlights local, organic, delicious ingredients in their handmade pizzas and salads. Epoch Eats serves upscale comfort food including a wide array of gourmet grilled cheese melts.

The Penny Ice Creamery, a Santa Cruz staple, will be scooping three flavors of ice cream into cups and cones, topped with its signature marshmallow fluff.

The event will be held at the Harvey West Clubhouse from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, May 20. Tickets are $60 each or two for $100, and include one drink, dinner and dessert. Tickets are available in advance on Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/good-neighbor-social-tickets-319072964827.
