We are super excited to announce that The Coffis Brothers, everybody’s favorite local band has a new song released today called “In My Imagination”. Listen below and enjoy.

“In My Imagination was the last song I wrote for the album. It was inspired by an idea I had to write a kids song of all things. It evolved into something slightly more sophisticated when I came up with the chords for the chorus. I brought it to the band and our producer Tim Bluhm, and we came up with a pretty cool arrangement. It instantly became one of my favorites to sing, especially with all the moving parts on the outro, and I was quite pleased with how that section came out in the recording particularly.“ –Jamie Coffis
“Every year at Thanksgiving our parents ask us to play some music for the rest of our family. We always reluctantly say yes and play a few songs together, but this time Jamie said he had a new song he had just written. That was the first time I heard In My Imagination. It was just a few weeks before we were going into the studio, so a few days before we went to record, we got the band together along with Tim and came up with a nice arrangement. I think it’s one of the best songs Jamie’s ever written and has become one my favorite songs from this band.” –Kellen Coffis
